Pick your platform
The basics, for every platform
I bought a key and it says it's the wrong platform or region. What now?
Stop, and don't keep trying the key. Check the platform and region on the game's product page. If both match your account and the key is still refused, buyer protection replaces or refunds it. If the key is for another platform, redeem it there. If it's for another region, contact us first.
What is region lock, and how do I avoid buying the wrong key?
Region lock means a key activates only on an account in the region it was sold for. A Global key works on any account, while a Europe key needs an account in Europe. Every Andalu product page names the key's platform and region before you buy, so compare them with your account first.
My game key isn't working. What should I do?
A key usually fails for one of a few reasons: a typing mistake, the wrong platform or account, or a region that doesn't match. Check the platform your key is for, paste the key again, then find your message in the table below. It takes you to the exact fix on your platform.
How do I activate a game key?
Every game key activates the same basic way: open the platform the key is for, find its redeem option, and paste the key exactly as it arrived. Each platform has its own guide, with every way to redeem, a picture of each step, and fixes for its error messages.
What's the difference between an edition, an upgrade and DLC?
A full edition, such as Standard, Deluxe or Game of the Year, is the whole game, and bigger editions add extras. An upgrade adds a bigger edition's extras to a game you own. DLC adds content, like an expansion or a season pass, to a game you own. Upgrades and DLC need the base game on the same account.
