Those Who Remain

Players walk through eerie environments solving light-based puzzles, since areas cast in shadow contain figures that attack on contact, forcing constant attention to lamps, switches and other light sources. The story follows a man whose search for answers uncovers a town called Dormont, split between two overlapping realities, told through exploration and choices that affect how the narrative unfolds.

Combat is largely absent, with tension instead built through environmental puzzles, careful pacing and an unsettling atmosphere rather than direct confrontation with threats.

• Light and Shadow Puzzles Manage light sources to avoid deadly encounters in darkness.
• Branching Narrative Choices made during the story affect its outcome.
• Atmospheric Exploration Investigate a town split between two unsettling realities.
• Puzzle-Focused Survival Progress depends on solving environmental puzzles rather than fighting.
