Homebody

She soon discovers she is stuck in a time loop, waking back up in the foyer each time she dies. She retains whatever she has learned, so knowledge carries forward even though the night resets. Exploration centers on evading a killer with adaptive AI by moving quietly and hiding in closets. Each loop also asks the player to solve non-linear escape-room puzzles scattered through the house. An in-game journal helps connect clues gathered across different attempts. Dialogue choices during quieter moments reveal Emily's relationships and past. The story unfolds gradually and touches on anxiety, obsessive thoughts and grief. The tone leans on slasher-film tension paired with a retro visual style. Every death adds new knowledge rather than erasing progress, so the house grows more familiar as its secrets come apart.
