DreadOut 2

The player explores dark environments, solves environmental puzzles, and raises the phone camera to expose otherwise invisible spirits, using photographs both to damage certain ghosts and to progress through story sequences. Combat and evasion are tense and limited, with the camera's battery and light acting as a resource the player must manage while avoiding direct contact with hostile apparitions. The story follows the same protagonist from the earlier game as she is drawn into a new, unfamiliar town with its own local hauntings and legends.

• Camera Combat Use a smartphone camera to reveal and damage ghosts.
• Resource Management Manage limited camera battery and light while exploring dark areas.
• Folklore-Based Ghosts Enemies and legends are drawn from local ghost stories.
• Environmental Puzzles Progress requires solving puzzles scattered through the explorable areas.
