Bramble: The Mountain King

The player guides Olle on foot through forest, bog and mountain settings drawn from Nordic myth, solving light environmental puzzles and sneaking past or fleeing from trolls, witches and other creatures rather than fighting them directly.

Chase sequences and stealth sections build tension, since Olle has no combat ability and must rely on hiding, timing and using the environment to survive close encounters.

The game presents its story largely without dialogue, using visual storytelling and the design of its folklore-inspired creatures to convey the plot as Olle moves deeper into increasingly strange territory.

• Folklore-inspired Creatures Encounter trolls, witches and other figures from Nordic myth.
• Stealth and Evasion Survive by hiding and escaping rather than fighting.
• Environmental Puzzles Solve light puzzles built into the forest and mountain settings.
• Visual Storytelling The plot unfolds mainly through imagery rather than dialogue.
