Destiny 2: The Edge of Fate

It sends Guardians to Kepler, a newly opened planetoid at the edge of the solar system, to trace a mysterious signal. Kepler holds the ruins of a lost human settlement and the remnants of Fallen houses, along with new characters shaped by a strange phenomenon called the Anomaly. The campaign is non-linear, letting players approach its objectives in different orders rather than a single fixed path. A new difficulty system called World Tiers lets players pick how hard encounters run, with higher tiers unlocking extra narrative threads, hidden secrets and stronger gear. Combat introduces two new enemy types, Vex Kobolds and Fallen Corsairs, alongside the existing roster of hostile factions. As with the wider game, progression revolves around collecting weapons and armor, then chasing better versions through repeatable activities. New destination-specific abilities tied to the Anomaly give Guardians additional tools to use while exploring Kepler and fighting through it. The story is framed as the opening chapter of a new arc for the series, setting up conflicts that carry into future content.
