DOOM: The Dark Ages Premium Upgrade

The story leans on more cutscenes and character background than earlier entries in the series. This upgrade requires already owning the base game and adds a further layer of content on top of it rather than replacing anything. Combat in the base game trades pure speed for a heavier, more grounded feel. A shield doubles as a saw for blocking, parrying and striking in one motion, while maces, flails and gauntlets sit alongside firearms for close-range fighting. Several missions put players in direct control of huge vehicles, including a cybernetic dragon and a mech-sized war machine, breaking up the on-foot combat with large-scale set pieces. This upgrade adds the Revelations campaign, an additional story chapter beyond the main game, plus a digital artbook and soundtrack covering the game's art and music. It also unlocks the Divinity skin pack, matching cosmetic looks for the Slayer, the dragon mount and the towering Atlan, so all three share one visual theme in missions where they appear. On top of the content, owners of this upgrade get early access to play the game itself before its general launch. This content is not available without the base game already owned; it is purely additive, layered on top of the full campaign.
