Trident's Wake

You play an Echo, a digital mind poured into a combat frame called a Sentinel, sent to retake the vessel from an alien force that has overrun it. Missions run as fights through corridors and holds, with layouts and objectives shuffled between runs so the ship never reads the same way twice. Several Sentinel chassis are available and each plays differently. One raises a barrier for the squad, another dashes into groups and fires in a spread. Weapons cover flamethrowers, railguns, hand cannons and plasma rifles, and salvaged tech lets you upgrade a gun or re-roll its stats when the numbers disappoint. Ranking up unlocks passive bonuses that carry between sorties, while optional mission modifiers raise the difficulty in exchange for better rewards. Squad play leans on support, so supply packs, repair stations and covering fire matter as much as raw damage. Four people can play together online, and the same session works in split screen on one machine. Progress moves sector by sector, opening fresh weapons and abilities as the crew pushes deeper into the hull.
