Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun | Forges of Corruption Edition

Combat plays out like a classic 1990s shooter, with fast movement, sprite-based enemies, and weapons that include the titular boltgun, a heavy bolter, and melta weapons, alongside melee attacks with a combat knife or chainsword. Levels are built around finding keys, secrets, and ammunition caches while cutting through waves of cultists, Chaos Space Marines, and daemonic enemies.

This edition adds the Forges of Corruption campaign, a further set of missions extending the fight against the forces of Chaos across corrupted forge worlds. Visuals use a pixelated, low-poly art style deliberately modeled on shooters from decades past, paired with a heavy metal soundtrack.

Difficulty settings range from casual runs focused on story to punishing modes for players seeking a harder challenge.
