SpellForce Platinum Edition

The player explores a persistent world map on foot, completing quests, fighting monsters directly, and recruiting companions in a manner similar to a role-playing game, then switches to a real-time strategy view to gather resources, construct buildings, and train troops for larger battles. Hero characters gain levels and equipment across both modes, tying the two systems together.

This edition bundles the original campaign together with its expansion content, giving the player access to additional story chapters, races, and units beyond the base game on top of the core hero-and-army gameplay loop.

• Hero Character A customizable hero gains levels, skills, and equipment across the whole campaign.
• Base Building Resource gathering and construction let the player build up bases and train armies.
• Combined Genres Role-playing exploration and real-time strategy battles are woven into a single campaign.
• Expansion Content Additional campaigns and playable races beyond the original release are included.
