Fallout: A Post Nuclear Role Playing Game

Players create a character by allocating attributes and skills, then explore a devastated open world made up of towns, ruins, and wasteland encounters, choosing dialogue options that can resolve conflicts through combat, persuasion, or stealth. Combat uses a turn-based system with action points spent on movement, attacks, and targeted shots at specific body parts.

Choices about which factions to help and how to solve quests affect the state of the world and the ending shown, giving the same starting scenario multiple possible outcomes. The tone mixes retro-futuristic 1950s style with dark, satirical writing about survival after civilization's collapse.
