Rogue Trooper

Blue-skinned and bred for combat, Rogue carries three fallen squadmates as talking biochips fitted into his gear: a rifle that spots targets, a backpack that crafts gadgets from scavenged parts, and a knife that opens locks and cracks systems.

Enemy squads react to noise and line of sight, so levels reward a patient, flanking approach that picks apart a fortified position piece by piece rather than a straight charge into open ground.

The whole campaign is scored to a bleak, industrial-war tone, with commanders issuing orders from behind the lines while Rogue and his biochip squad actually take the fortified positions apart. Later missions add vehicles and heavier ordnance without ever softening the tactical pace, forcing the player to combine every biochip skill just to survive the last few chapters intact.

• Biochip squadmates Three fallen comrades ride along as talking biochips, each lending a distinct combat skill.
• Sound-aware enemies Patrols react to gunfire and footsteps, rewarding a quiet, flanking approach over a straight charge.
• Field crafting Scavenged battlefield parts turn into traps and tools through the biochip crafting menu.
• A single poisoned world The whole war plays out on one planet, its surface ruined by chemical warfare.
