Rogue Stormers

Ravensdale struck a substance called goop, a fluid that powered engines and ended up in everything from skin cream to bread spread, and it turned most of the population into raging creatures. You take one of five unlockable classes into the ruins to end it. Movement is side-scrolling platforming while aiming is twin-stick, so you can fire in any direction as you run and jump. Levels are procedurally assembled, with layout, traps and enemy placement shifting between runs. Seven stages escalate toward the final threat. Death sends you back to the start, but the perks you unlock carry over, so each attempt begins a little stronger than the last. Weapons drop throughout a run and swap out what you are carrying, and upgrades stack on top of them.
