Metro: Last Light Redux

Artyom moves between crowded metro stations turned into fragile societies and pitch-black surface excursions where a gas mask filter is a countdown timer, not a convenience, and cracked lenses fog exactly when clear sight matters most.

Combat rewards restraint as much as aim: military-grade rounds are both currency and ammunition, so firing the good bullets at a mutant is also spending the money the player needed for gear, and stealth through the shadows often costs less than a fight.

Above the tunnels, this remastered edition adds a full stealth-lighting overhaul and rebalanced difficulty over the original release. A pacifist path lets careful players clear most human encounters without firing a shot, changing how later chapters treat Artyom's own hard-won reputation among the factions he meets along the way.

• Filter-limited surface trips A gas mask filter counts down in real time, turning every above-ground excursion into a clock.
• Ammunition as currency Military-grade rounds buy gear at traders, so using the best bullets in a fight has a real cost.
• Light and shadow stealth Extinguishing lamps and staying out of light lets Artyom slip past patrols without a shot fired.
• A society under the city Stations run their own factions and politics, from hardline order to open hostility toward outsiders.
