Hidden Deep

Players lead a small rescue team searching for a research expedition that went silent hundreds of days ago. Movement relies on grappling hooks, hand-held scanners and rideable drones to cross caves, shafts and flooded machine rooms. Players can take direct control of a squad member or issue orders and let the rest of the team carry them out. Combat pits the team against hostile creatures and unexplained phenomena hidden deep in the facility. The story campaign runs through hand-crafted missions, while a separate Challenge mode offers randomized layouts for extra replays. Climbing, swimming, blasting through obstacles and operating heavy machinery are all part of getting a squad to its objective. Local co-op lets a second player join a mission directly, and remote play support extends that to separate locations. The tone stays close to survival horror, favoring tension and resource management over constant combat.
