Doom: The Dark Ages | Premium Edition

Artbook and matching skins for the Slayer, dragon and mech.

Combat leans into heavy, grounded fighting rather than fast movement, with a shield that can block, parry and bash enemies in one motion. Melee weapons like a mace, flail and gauntlet chain into ranged fights, and finishing a staggered enemy with a glory kill restores health or ammo. New firearms such as a bone-launching cannon round out an arsenal built for close fights against waves of demons.

Certain missions put you in direct control of a mechanical dragon for aerial combat or a towering mech for city-scale demolition, breaking up ground combat with different fights entirely. The story shows more of the Slayer's history and his relationship with the forces that shaped him into a weapon. Through added cutscenes and a heavier narrative focus than earlier games in the series.
