Unravel

Yarny's body is the yarn itself, so the player must tie the thread to objects in the environment to create swings, bridges, and anchors for climbing, while the remaining length of yarn shortens as it is used. Running low on yarn means the player must first retrieve slack from earlier parts of the level before continuing forward, turning resource management into a core part of nearly every puzzle.

Levels are built around miniature outdoor settings such as gardens, cliffs, and frozen ponds, each tied to a photograph representing a memory from a family's past. Progress rewards careful platforming and puzzle-solving over speed, and the fragile yarn body means a fall or a snag can unravel Yarny if the player is careless with the thread.

• Yarn as a Tool Yarny's own body is used to tie swings, bridges, and anchors.
• Limited Yarn Length The yarn shortens with use, requiring players to manage it carefully across a level.
• Memory-Based Settings Each level is tied to a photograph representing a personal memory.
• Environmental Puzzles Progress depends on solving physical puzzles built into the landscape.
