The Suicide of Rachel Foster

Playing as Nicole, who has returned to settle the sale of her late mother's hotel, the player walks through its rooms and corridors, uncovering documents, objects and audio recordings that reveal old secrets.

Throughout the game, Nicole stays in contact by radio with an outside dispatcher, and their conversations guide the player toward new areas and reveal more of the unfolding story.

The game focuses on exploration and dialogue rather than combat or puzzles, building its story gradually through environmental storytelling and character conversation.

• Environmental Storytelling Documents, objects and recordings found around the hotel reveal the plot.
• Radio Dialogue Ongoing radio conversations with a dispatcher character guide the player and advance the story.
• Exploration-Focused The gameplay centers on walking through and examining an abandoned hotel.
• Narrative Focus The experience prioritizes story and character over combat or traditional puzzles.
