About this game
Players click through a verb coin menu to examine, use and interact with a world assembled from classical paintings, dragging items between an inventory and the scenery to solve each puzzle. A sword can be drawn to cut through most obstacles and skip puzzles outright, though the game repeatedly warns against turning it on other characters.
The world is built from hundreds of Renaissance paintings by artists such as Rembrandt, Botticelli and Michelangelo, stitched together into one continuous setting the hero travels through on foot. A classical score drawing on Vivaldi, Bach and Handel plays throughout, pairing serious sacred imagery with an absurd, irreverent sense of humor closer to sketch comedy than scripture.
- Verb Coin Interface A classic point-and-click menu lets players examine, use and combine items and scenery.
- Renaissance Painting World Hundreds of paintings by masters like Rembrandt and Botticelli form one continuous landscape.
- Optional Sword A drawable sword can force past most puzzles instead of solving them properly.
- Classical Soundtrack Music from Vivaldi, Bach and Handel plays throughout the journey.
