The Land of the Magnates

Malik Shahbaz stands falsely accused of poisoning his own father after the kingdom's queen dies and the land falls into darkness. Forced to flee, he sets out to find a cure for the king, reclaim his throne, and bring light back to the Land of the Sun. The core weapon is a magical sitar whose musical notes can strike down enemies and lift the curses that have spread across the world. Play takes Shahbaz through cursed forests, elemental kingdoms, ancient cities, and clockwork domains, each drawing on Arabian, Persian, Indian, and Byzantine influences. Combat blends melee strikes with elemental magic channeled through the sitar, while platforming sections test timing across dizzying heights. Environmental puzzles ask players to master fire, water, wind, and earth to reopen sealed paths and restore withered land. Progression follows the prince's journey from exile to redemption, with each zone hiding its own curse to break and story beats tied to the fate of his family and kingdom. The game favors deliberate exploration over combat spam, rewarding players who study a chamber's mechanisms before acting.
