The Dream Machine: Chapters 1 - 3

Playing as Victor, a man who has just moved into the building with his pregnant wife, the player uncovers a hidden facility beneath the complex that lets him enter neighbors' subconscious minds. Each dream is rendered in a distinctive handcrafted claymation-style diorama, with puzzles that hinge on interpreting symbolic objects and half-remembered fears rather than conventional adventure-game logic. Progression relies on careful observation, inventory combination, and piecing together fragments of each dreamer's personal history to understand what their dream represents. The slow-burn mystery surrounding the building's true purpose unfolds gradually across these first three chapters, blending everyday domestic unease with something more unsettling beneath the surface. The tactile, stop-motion-inspired art style and quiet, contemplative pacing set it apart from more action-oriented adventure titles, favoring atmosphere and character over spectacle.
