About this game
His mission is to free the corrupted city of Rotbork from a great evil. Players explore 99 hand-drawn panels packed with small details worth clicking through. Progress comes from puzzles, challenges and mini-games rather than combat or reflexes. A comic-book art style renders the city and its characters entirely by hand. The tone pairs dark themes with genuine moments of humor throughout the story. Its pacing and mystery draw on classic point-and-click touchstones such as Blade Runner and Broken Sword. Bartholomeus must rely on wit and observation to get past traps and confront the demons hiding in Rotbork's streets. Humor and horror sit side by side throughout, with the game's mature moments giving the story real stakes. The wider goal is to lift the city's corruption entirely, one panel and one puzzle at a time, until Rotbork is finally free.
