The Artful Escape

The player controls Francis Vendetti, a folk guitarist who slips into a vivid imagined universe while wrestling with stage fright before a big show. Moving through richly colored, ever-changing backdrops, the player runs, jumps, and glides while playing improvised guitar riffs that shape the mood of each scene. Dialogue choices and encounters with strange cosmic characters influence the persona Francis builds for himself as a performer.

The core mechanic ties movement and music together, letting simple platforming actions trigger guitar licks that blend into a continuous soundtrack.

• Guitar-Driven Movement Jumps and dashes generate guitar notes that layer into the background music.
• Surreal Visual Style Environments shift through psychedelic colors and shapes as the story progresses.
• Character Reinvention Conversations let the player shape Francis's stage persona before his big performance.
• Cinematic Pacing The game unfolds as a linear narrative journey rather than an open level design.
