Talisman - The Firelands Expansion

In the base game, up to six players choose one of fourteen characters and move around a board, drawing Adventure Cards that reveal enemies, followers, events, places, strangers and objects. They fight monsters and rivals with dice rolls, gather strength, craft, gold and fate, and race to reach the center of the board and claim the Crown of Command. The Firelands expansion adds a new threat: the Ifrit, an ancient race of fire creatures who rise from underground to burn the land in revenge against the Crown's original wizard. It introduces four new playable characters: the dual-wielding Dervish, the space-ignoring Nomad, the fate-manipulating Jin Blooded, and the follower-conscripting Warlord. The pack adds eighty-one Adventure Cards, nineteen Spell Cards and nineteen Terrain Cards, the last of which replace the effects of standard board spaces. A new Burn effect can permanently remove a card from the game, while a Fireproof property protects certain cards against it. Fireland tokens also spread hazard zones across the board that drain life from any character who lands on them. Three new alternative-ending cards let players claim fire-themed victories instead of the standard Crown of Command ending.
