STASIS - Deluxe Edition

The player controls John Maracheck, who wakes aboard the research vessel Groomlake with no memory of how he got there and no sign of his missing wife and daughter. Progress comes from exploring dark, decaying rooms from a fixed isometric angle, combining inventory items, and reading logs and notes left behind that slowly reveal what experiments took place on board. The tone leans on body horror and unsettling imagery rather than jump scares, and puzzles generally require careful searching of each environment rather than fast reactions.

• Isometric Adventure Environments are viewed and explored from a fixed isometric angle.
• Inventory Puzzles Progress depends on combining and using collected items correctly.
• Horror Atmosphere Body horror imagery and decaying environments set the tone.
• Science Fiction Setting The story unfolds aboard an abandoned research spacecraft.
