About this game
The player fights stormtroopers, wildlife, and Inquisitors with a lightsaber and a set of Force powers such as push, pull, and slow, in combat that rewards timed blocks and parries over button-mashing. Exploration follows a metroidvania-style structure, with several large interconnected planets that require new abilities, gained as the story progresses, to reach previously blocked areas and hidden upgrades. Cal is accompanied throughout by his droid companion BD-1, who scans objects, holds map data, and can be upgraded to unlock new traversal and combat options as the story advances.
- Lightsaber Combat Fight using timed blocks, parries, and dodges against a range of enemy types.
- Force Powers Use abilities like push, pull, and slow to solve puzzles and control fights.
- Interconnected Planets Explore large, metroidvania-style maps that open up as new abilities are learned.
- BD-1 Companion Rely on a droid companion for scanning, healing, and gradual ability upgrades.
- Meditation Checkpoints Rest at meditation points to heal, save skill choices, and travel between areas.
