Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning

The player explores a large fantasy world filled with side quests, dungeons, and factions, fighting enemies in real-time combat that combines weapon combos, magic, and a special Reckoning Mode that slows time for a brief window of powerful attacks.

Character building uses a class-free system, letting a player mix skills from three main paths, might, finesse, and sorcery, and switch specialization freely as the character grows rather than committing early to one archetype.

Crafting and enchanting systems let a player make custom gear from harvested materials, feeding back into the combat and exploration loop. The story follows the hero's ability to see and break people's fates, which sets them apart from every other character in the world.

• Fateless Hero The protagonist can break others' predetermined fates, an ability unique among all characters.
• Class-Free Skill System Mix abilities across might, finesse, and sorcery paths freely.
• Reckoning Mode Trigger a slow-motion window for devastating finishing attacks in combat.
• Crafting and Enchanting Turn harvested materials into custom weapons, armor, and gems.
