Sherlock Holmes The Awakened | Deluxe Edition

Players guide Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson through eerie locations including asylums, swamps, and cult hideouts as they piece together a conspiracy tied to ancient, unknowable forces. Gameplay centers on examining crime scenes, gathering clues, questioning witnesses, and assembling evidence on a mind-map style deduction board where players choose which conclusions to pursue, sometimes leading to different outcomes. Puzzle-solving is woven throughout, from lock mechanisms and cipher puzzles to environmental brainteasers that block progress until solved. The atmosphere leans heavily into dread, with unsettling visuals and sound design underscoring the sense that reality itself is fraying around the case. Sanity effects distort perception at points, reflecting Holmes's own grip on rationality being tested by things that defy logical explanation. The story reimagines a stretch of Holmes's career against a backdrop inspired by Lovecraftian mythology, blending traditional whodunit structure with slow-building horror. The Deluxe Edition bundles additional content such as a digital soundtrack and artwork alongside the base game, giving fans extra material to accompany the investigation.
