Bulb Boy

The player guides the boy through dark rooms, using the glow of his bulb head to reveal hidden objects, scare off small creatures, and solve environmental puzzles tied to light and darkness. Progress depends on manipulating switches, pulling levers, and combining found items to uncover what happened to the house and its inhabitants. The game separates itself from typical horror adventures through its hand-drawn, comic-style art full of grotesque, darkly humorous imagery rather than realistic scares, and through a short, tightly paced runtime built around a handful of interconnected chapters.

• Bulb-powered puzzles The glowing bulb head is used to light dark areas and trigger puzzle solutions.
• Hand-drawn art style The game uses dark, comic-inspired 2D artwork throughout.
• Grotesque humor Disturbing imagery is paired with an absurd, comedic tone.
• Compact chapter structure The story unfolds across a short series of connected house rooms and areas.
