Sherlock Holmes and The Hound of The Baskervilles

Sherlock Holmes and The Hound of The Baskervilles is a point-and-click adventure game that puts the player in the role of detective Sherlock Holmes investigating the legend of a supernatural hound haunting the Baskerville family. The player explores moody Victorian environments, gathers clues, questions suspects, and examines evidence to piece together the truth behind the mysterious deaths surrounding the Baskerville estate. Puzzle-solving is central to progression, with the player combining inventory items, deciphering codes, and using logical deduction to unlock new areas and dialogue options. The atmosphere leans heavily into gothic mystery, with foggy moors, an imposing manor, and unsettling local rumors setting the tone throughout the investigation. Conversations with characters like Dr. Watson and the residents of Baskerville Hall provide narrative clues while also fleshing out the personalities surrounding the central mystery. The game follows the structure of Arthur Conan Doyle's original story, letting players experience the famous case through direct interaction rather than passive reading. Careful observation and patience are rewarded, as many clues are subtle and easy to miss without thorough exploration of each scene.
