Shambles: Sons of Apocalypse

Centuries after a war that ended civilization, the bunker's door finally opens and its people find a world that has changed completely. Exploration is handled through text, as players read events across more than a hundred zones and choose how to respond to each one. Those choices carry consequences, opening or closing later zones and pushing the story toward one of several different endings. Combat is turn-based and card-driven, built from a starting deck of skills and cards that grows as the run continues. Between expeditions, players spend what they've earned on better stats, gear and new skills to prepare for tougher fights ahead. Hidden zones and dungeons sit off the main path, rewarding players who explore beyond the missions directly in front of them. A growing in-game book records the creatures, characters and locations discovered along the way, building a picture of the changed world.
