The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing

The player controls Van Helsing in real-time hack-and-slash combat, choosing from skill trees that support melee, ranged, or gadget-based playstyles while accumulating loot in the form of weapons, armor, and enchantments that drop from defeated enemies. A ghostly companion named Lady accompanies the player throughout, offering combat support, commentary, and her own set of abilities that can be leveled up alongside the main character.

The setting leans into gothic horror imagery, with monster hunters, mad scientists, and undead forces populating a land inspired by classic horror fiction rather than a generic fantasy world. Combat encourages fast movement between groups of enemies, chaining skills and gadget use to clear rooms rather than relying on slow, deliberate engagements.
