About this game

The player builds a party and fights through turn-based battles that use a Glimmer system, where techniques can spontaneously trigger stronger follow-up moves during combat. Character growth comes from using skills in battle rather than gaining experience points, so a party's strengths form organically through play. The chosen protagonist's background shapes which parts of the world's factions and events the story touches.

Multiple Protagonists The player picks one of several lead characters, each with a different starting path through the story.
Glimmer Combat System Battle actions can spontaneously chain into stronger follow-up techniques.
Skill-Based Growth Characters improve by using abilities in combat rather than through a fixed leveling formula.
Branching World Events Different protagonists encounter different factions and story threads.
