Raji: An Ancient Epic

Combat mixes melee weapons and thrown daggers with divine powers granted by different deities, letting the player switch approaches depending on the enemy types encountered in a given area. Exploration moves through hand-painted temple ruins, palace interiors, and battlefield environments styled after South Asian art and architecture, with platforming sections and light puzzles connecting the combat encounters.

The story is narrated through stylized cutscenes drawn in a flat, mural-like art style distinct from the game's in-engine visuals, giving the mythological framing a separate visual identity from the action sequences. Boss battles against demon commanders punctuate the chapters, each requiring different tactics tied to the powers unlocked up to that point.

• Deity-Granted Powers Raji gains combat abilities tied to different gods as the story progresses.
• Mythological Art Direction Environments and cutscenes are styled after South Asian temple art and architecture.
• Melee and Ranged Combat Combat combines close weapons with thrown daggers against varied enemy types.
