About this game
The story unfolds across a set of songs, each functioning as its own chapter, with lyrics driving dialogue and pivotal choices made in time with the music. Players make branching decisions during key scenes that shape Alma's fate and reveal different facets of a dark, fractured narrative about abuse and self-destruction. Gameplay blends walking-simulator exploration with quick reaction prompts and dialogue choices synced to the soundtrack's shifting tempo and tone. The visual style leans into surreal, symbolic imagery to represent Alma's fractured mental state, shifting between grounded scenes and nightmarish sequences without warning. Multiple endings reward replaying the story to see how different choices alter Alma's ultimate outcome, encouraging players to revisit earlier chapters with new understanding of the characters around her.
