Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom

Players explore an open world, fight enemies in real-time action combat that mixes melee attacks with summonable small creatures called Higgledies, and recruit allies to join Evan's cause. Outside of combat, a kingdom-building system lets players construct buildings, research technology, and assign citizens to roles, gradually growing a small settlement into a thriving capital that unlocks new gear and abilities.

A separate strategic layer lets players command squads of soldiers in small-scale real-time battles across the overworld map, fought alongside the main story missions. This combination of action combat, town management, and light strategy battles is what separates it from a conventional single-system RPG.
