Monster Tribe

You play a sage born with a rare bond to these beings, which disappeared centuries ago. A spreading phenomenon called the Rift now threatens the land, and the story follows your journey to understand it. Exploration drives the game. You cross wilderness that nature has reclaimed, search ruins for salvage, and climb ancient towers filled with hostile monsters and puzzles. Along the way you gather a roster of 72 Ateyan, each awakened through your connection rather than caught. Combat is turn-based and tactical. Teams of up to four Ateyan face off on a grid, where positioning and ability choice matter more than raw stats. Outside battle, a flexible progression system lets you develop each creature, manage experience, and upgrade equipment. Salvaged materials unlock mutation forms that change how an Ateyan looks and fights. The result is a compact creature-collecting adventure that rewards careful team building, steady exploration, and curiosity about what happened to Akama.
