Metro Awakening

The player scavenges scarce ammunition, filters, and medical supplies while navigating dark, collapsing tunnels populated by mutated creatures and hostile human factions, following a medic searching for a cure to save someone close to him.

Because the game is built for virtual reality, actions such as reloading weapons, swapping a gas mask filter, or checking a map are performed by hand using physical, hands-on interactions rather than automated menu prompts.

Resource scarcity and darkness push the player toward careful, quiet movement over open combat, with ammunition and light sources treated as valuable, limited tools rather than something to spend freely.

• Hand-Tracked Interactions Weapon reloading, filter swapping, and map checks are all performed with physical hand motions.
• Resource Scarcity Ammunition, filters, and medical items are limited and must be managed carefully.
• Mutant and Human Threats The tunnels are populated by both mutated creatures and hostile human groups.
• Atmospheric Tunnel Setting Dark, decaying underground passages form the backdrop for the entire story.
