Hunted: The Demon's Forge

Players control one of two mercenaries: E'lara, an elf who fights with a bow and light melee weapons, or Caddoc, a human warrior who wields heavy melee arms and a crossbow. The pair investigate a mysterious artifact and get drawn into a war against demons, the twisted Wargar and a sorceress named Seraphine. The story unfolds across the dark, ruined world of Kala Moor, presented through mostly linear levels with occasional optional side areas to explore. Combat mixes melee strikes, ranged attacks and offensive and defensive spells that can be upgraded as the characters grow stronger. Players are encouraged to take cover and coordinate ranged and close-quarters roles between the two characters. E'lara's archery plays like precision gunplay, letting her pick off enemies from range, while Caddoc anchors fights up close with heavier weapons and a crossbow for backup. The full campaign can be played solo with an AI partner or with a second player online, in split-screen or over a local network, with either player free to take either character. Environmental traps and puzzles are woven between combat encounters throughout the descent into Kala Moor.
