Hello Goodboy

Iko wakes with no memory of how he died, and Coco, a strangely familiar dog, becomes his guide through this otherworldly realm. The game is non-linear, letting players choose which souls to help and in what order, with each choice affecting who Iko can build a relationship with. Helping one soul can close off the chance to help another, so the choices carry lasting consequences across a story with multiple endings. Puzzle solving relies on items carried in an inventory and on Coco's own abilities, which help Iko reach places and people he could not on his own. A dedicated meter tracks Coco's happiness, and players keep him content with belly rubs and games of fetch between story beats. The tone stays gentle throughout, framing loss and memory through small acts of kindness rather than conflict or combat.
