Goodbye Deponia

Players click through hand-drawn environments, picking up objects, combining them in an inventory, and talking to a cast of oddball characters to solve a chain of escalating puzzles. Dialogue is heavy on comic timing and running jokes, with wrong choices often leading to darkly funny failure scenes rather than an immediate game-over.

The story splits and reconnects across multiple paths depending on choices made earlier, giving repeat playthroughs a reason to pick different dialogue and puzzle solutions. The tone stays comedic even as the plot pushes toward the fate of the floating junk world of Deponia and the people living on it.
