About this game
The player manages a construction workforce building the generator and surrounding infrastructure against a countdown, balancing labor output, worker health, and safety while dealing with industrial accidents and political pressure from a distant capital. Unlike the base game's campaigns, which focus on surviving inside a frozen city, this expansion centers on the construction effort itself, forcing decisions between speed and worker welfare as the clock runs down toward the coming freeze.
- Prequel Storyline The campaign takes place before the events of the main game.
- Construction Focus The player builds the generator and supporting structures rather than managing an existing city.
- Workforce Management Labor, safety, and worker health must be balanced against a construction deadline.
- Political Pressure Decisions are shaped by demands from a distant capital overseeing the project.
