Forgotten Mines

Each run sends a small team of warriors down through a procedurally generated mine, fighting turn-based tactical battles against more than fifty enemy types and bosses. Players build their squad from dozens of specialized classes, including axe wielders, dagger-wielding rogues and mages who wield arcane magic, unlocking new options as they progress. Between fights, gems mined from the depths pay for new gear and classes. Weapons, armor, accessories and artifacts can be swapped in to change a warrior's stats and bonuses before the next descent. Turns are limited on each run, so players must balance exploration, looting and combat against a ticking clock. Death is permanent, ending the expedition and sending survivors back to plan the next attempt. A separate Descent Mode adds tougher modifiers for players who have mastered the base runs and want a harder challenge. The mine environment shifts with each attempt, so no two expeditions play out the same way. Building the right team composition before descending matters as much as the tactics used once inside.
