FINAL FANTASY IV Pixel Remaster

Players lead a rotating party of characters through a world threatened by dark crystals, fighting monsters in turn-based battles governed by a timed gauge system that determines when each combatant can act. The remaster keeps the original plot, dungeons, and job-based character abilities intact while replacing the visuals with new high-resolution pixel sprites and backgrounds.

The story follows Cecil's journey from a Dark Knight serving a militaristic kingdom to a Paladin seeking redemption, joined by companions including the summoner Rydia and the ranger Kain. A rearranged orchestral soundtrack and a bestiary tracking encountered monsters are included alongside adjustable battle speed and an auto-battle option.

Random encounters occur while traveling the overworld and dungeons, with strategic use of spells, summons, and character-specific skills required to overcome bosses.
