About this game

The player leads a rotating party through a world split between surface kingdoms and the moon, fighting random and story encounters with the Active Time Battle system, which lets actions queue in real time while the player selects commands. The 3D remake redraws the original's sprites into full character models and adds new cutscenes and expanded dungeons not in the original release.

Active Time Battle Turn order runs on a continuously filling gauge instead of strict turns.
Job Change Arc Cecil transforms from dark knight to paladin partway through the story.
Rotating Party Characters join and leave the party as the story moves between locations.
