CHRONO TRIGGER

The player controls a party of up to three characters in turn-based battles fought directly on the field map rather than a separate battle screen, using combined techniques where two or three characters link their attacks for special effects.

The story sends the party from a prehistoric past to a ruined future, with actions taken in one era changing conditions encountered in another, and multiple possible endings depending on when and how the final battle is reached.

• Time Travel Structure The party visits several distinct eras, and changes in one era affect later ones.
• Combo Tech Attacks Two or three party members can combine abilities into a single special attack.
• On-Field Battles Combat takes place directly on the map without a transition to a separate battle screen.
• Multiple Endings The ending reached depends on when the player chooses to confront the final enemy.
