Blackguards: Deluxe Edition

Players control a party of outcasts, including the protagonist Cassia, moving each character across a grid during combat and using terrain, positioning, and elemental effects like fire and water to gain an advantage over enemies. Character progression runs through a skill-tree system that lets players shape a fighter, mage, or hybrid build over the course of the campaign. Encounters often reward creative use of the battlefield itself, since traps, chokepoints, and environmental hazards can turn a losing fight around.

• Hex-Based Combat Fight on grid maps where terrain and positioning affect outcomes.
• Elemental Tactics Use fire, water, and other environmental effects in battle.
• Party of Outcasts Lead a group of criminals bound together by circumstance.
• Skill Tree Progression Build each character's combat role through branching skills.
