ARCANIUM: Rise of Akhan

The heroes set out to defeat Akhan the Calamity and save the world of Arzu from destruction, exploring provinces at their own pace. Staying too long in one province raises a Threat meter that makes enemies progressively harder, pushing players to keep moving across the map. Combat is turn-based and built around coordinating the three heroes' unique skills, swapping who leads the fight to manage incoming damage. Outside of battle, players customize each hero's ability deck, mixing and adjusting cards to fit different party compositions and playstyles. Heroes are drawn from six classes, each with its own starting deck, and exploration turns up artifacts and consumable items that add further build options. Because the map is procedurally generated and hero decks reshuffle between runs, no two attempts at Arzu play out quite the same way.
