The story follows a young woman caught in the middle of a conflict as she carves out a life on the frontier. Players build their world piece by piece, placing more than 100 modular tiles across different biomes to shape valleys, towns and wilderness areas however they like. Exploration reveals new resources and areas to expand into, giving each biome its own materials to gather and use. Survival pursuits include hunting, fishing, farming and cooking, with crops that need watering and fertilizing as they grow. Base construction adds workstations such as a workbench, saw mill, furnace and anvil, letting players craft tools, weapons and equipment from gathered resources. The pace is largely self-directed, so players can follow the main story or simply focus on building and decorating their own settlement. Long-term progression comes through skill growth and quest completion, giving the builder-focused loop a light RPG backbone.
