We bought the same game with the same method. Why are our totals different?

Usually because you pay in different currencies. Prices convert at each day's market reference rate, and the rate moves. Processing also costs slightly different amounts in different currencies, and every price already includes that.

Does a bigger order cost more to process?

Part of processing is a percentage of the total, and part is a fixed amount per order. So a bigger order costs more to process overall but less per item. Several items in one order share one fixed amount, and checkout shows that saving as **One payment fee for** the number of items.

Why does my friend get iDEAL and I don't?

Local bank methods only work in their own country and currency: iDEAL in the Netherlands in euros, Bancontact in Belgium in euros, BLIK in Poland in złoty, Pix in Brazil in reais and UPI in India in rupees. On a small order, a method can also cost more to process than the price covers, and then it isn't offered at all.

Why is a different method marked Cheapest here for each of us?

Some methods cost a fixed amount, others a percentage. A percentage costs less on a small order and a fixed amount costs less on a large one, so the cheapest method depends on your total. Checkout works it out for your order and marks it **Cheapest here**.

Is one of us paying too much?

No. Each total is at or below the price each of you was shown, for your own currency and order. A method that would cost more than that price isn't offered.

Why do I see a different fee for the same payment method as a friend?

Payment processing is worked out for each order, not set once for everyone. It depends on your order's total, the currency you pay in and your country, so the same method can cost you and a friend different amounts. The price each of you sees already covers it, and nothing is added at checkout.
